‘I am so grateful to the tutors and management team at Ariel. They have created the most incredible Drama Academy. My son joined almost two years ago and he has finally found a place where his creativity and love of drama is encouraged and celebrated. He is so happy and excited to be a part of the Ariel family. Unlike so many performance academies Ariel is fun, warm, welcoming and yet still delivers an unbelievably high standard of teaching. It shows you don't have to be pushy to get the very best out of children. Their shows are exciting and give the children a chance to demonstrate what they've learned. It's always thought-provoking and a great experience for both the children and the audience.

If you are looking for a Drama/Dance/Singing club for your child, where they can learn not only the very best performance skills but how to work as part of a team and have that sense of belonging to something really worthwhile, look no further than Ariel’.

‘I have two children who attend Ariel. My daughter jumps out of bed every Saturday morning and cannot wait to get there. She won’t miss a rehearsal and particularly likes the big musical shows. When she returns, her head is full of song and dance and it’s a delight to watch her blossom into a theatrical young lady.

Max, my eldest, has Downs' Syndrome and Autism. Life was a struggle before Othellos (Ariel’s special needs group), Max would not focus, socialise, and his behaviour was off the scale.  ‘Just bring him along - we are used to challenging kids. We'll deal with it,' they said. ‘Don't worry. He'll be fine’.

And do you know what? Despite my reservations and after a few weeks settling in, HE WAS!, HE IS! And I cannot express the change in Max. His confidence, behaviour, school work, speech, all improved. The Buddy carers are just a bunch of awesome kids, crazy for their craft and oozing endless compassion and patience. Max now too, runs into his Othellos' sessions and is beaming when he comes out, air-punching because his time there was so great. He too has been in their showcases at a real theatre, where there is not a dry eye in the house - and why?  Because Ariel has brought the very best out of my child.

'No amount of superlatives can describe how amazing the Ariel gang are. I am so proud that my daughter is part of the Academy in Burgess Hill. The recent showcase was superb. The talent, professionalism and fun on stage was mind- blowing. What a credit to the Academy. Don't hesitate to sign your children up. You won't regret it!’

‘Ariel Drama Academy is the most inclusive club that my daughter attends.  It's unique...EVERYONE is welcome! It is so well organised, staffed with great talents and you will definitely see a change in your child's confidence.  My daughter loves it. Each week she is challenged and so never gets bored.  She has attended for 6 years now.  A record for any of her clubs!  I really look forward to the showcase that they put on every May. It is definitely one of the highlights of the year for my whole family to enjoy. I love both the tutors' enthusiasm, and my child's enjoyment of each Saturday morning.  I couldn't ask for more!’

CLAIRE

‘My daughter joined Ariel this year. She  has enjoyed every single session and always leaves the group on a high.  Her singing and acting ability has grown in just two terms thanks to the dedication and talents of the teaching staff. We are delighted that we chose to send her to Ariel.  I would recommend this friendly, talented group to anyone looking for a Saturday school to send their children to. It is fun, friendly and good value for money in our opinion.’

‘My teenage daughter was bored, bored, bored at home on Saturdays and wanted to be "doing" something. So, after some enquiries, we opted for Ariel which fitted in with my busy work schedule too! Now she feels she's learning something new every week, has made another, wider circle of friends and has honed her presentation and confidence skills.

The group's managers are friendly and approachable and the class teachers are skilled, professional and diverse. With so much on offer for teens in the entertainment industry at the moment I was prepared to be picky about the quality of teaching my daughter would be getting - and I'm completely satisfied. Thanks, Ariel!’

‘I cannot speak too highly of Ariel as a Company and its teaching staff. I am a mother of 4 and a teacher myself and know how precious time is, but it amazes me the amount of time and energy all the staff put in.’

What an absolutely wonderful performance. Just like last year... It made me very emotional in a happy way! What an incredibly talented bunch of children. I felt so proud that Lily  was able to be apart of the show. Her confidence has grown immensely since joining Ariel! All of the children just keep getting better and better. I must say the Jeckle and Hyde performance gave me goosebumps! What a talented lad. Thank you for all of your hard work, and for making my little girl feel so welcome. She really looks up to the older buddies and now really wants to be one herself!  can't wait for the next showcase. Absolutely fantastic.

The array of talent shown was a pleasure to see and it was clear that each young person that came onto that stage demonstrated confidence and a belief in themselves.  A truly child centred performance where they all worked as a team.

XXXX

I feel excited that my daughter is part of this, and more so that she may later on follow the example of those older ones around her that not only worked hard on their own performances but were buddies and helpers of many of the other groups too - what wonderfully positive role models to follow.

‘Since he joined Ariel he has been given some great opportunities including LAMDA exams, showcases and auditions for professional shows. There are often workshops over the holidays and lots of productions to go and see.

The staff are approachable and completely dedicated- never more than an email or phone call away. To sum up Ariel - it feels like a second family and we would be lost each Saturday without it !!!’

have been with Ariel for many years. It has honestly been one of the best experiences I've had because it has opened up so many opportunities for me. Not only has it allowed me to grow in confidence as a person, but I have formed lifelong friendships and taken part in so many fantastic things.

Ariel has helped me to identify and develop my individual strengths through LAMDA classes and workshops. I've also really enjoyed being part of a group in Musicality Choir and larger productions, allowing me to perform in theatres and learn from other people. Thank you so much for each tutor's hard work, patience, time and enthusiasm!’

EMILY (Student)

In my time with Ariel I have made best friends for life whilst growing in confidence, communication and interdisciplinary skills. I have also been an Othello Buddy at the Special Needs group. Through this group I have discovered my long term career aspirations.

Without Ariel I wouldn't have had half of the diverse and incredible experiences I've been lucky enough to have. From performing on the BBC twice, being part of the National Theatre Festival and taking part in numerous musicals and plays and local gigs at pubs, festivals and charity events. Ariel’s tutors are all passionate about their disciplines, which reflects in the standard of their work with each class and rubs off onto their students. I have loved my time at Ariel and would recommend to anyone to come along for a free trial.’

Max has been attending Othellos for 5 years, during that time we have seen his confidence grow, his enthusiasm for theatre blossom and his behaviour and social skills improve. We would have never dreamed that our son would be able to follow instruction and flourish so much in this inclusive setting. The buddies manage to bring the best out in their charges, whilst the tutors pitch the lessons perfectly. Orthellos brings the best out in Max, subsequently making us, his parents relax for a few hours on a Saturday knowing he's safe and having fun. Thank you Ariel.x

SARAH

The atmosphere at Ariel drama is always welcoming and inviting. The instructors are very friendly and allow students to work to the best of their abilities and beyond.

Our daughter loves going every Saturday and we can see how much her confidence has grown socially and emotionally. She is loving the dance routines and following her passion for singing.

Thankyou for being so lovely and nurturing to our daughter.

ANGELA

Almost 4 years ago, our childminder spotted an ad for Ariel on Facebook, and thought it would be good for our daughter Felicity.
Fe went for a trial lesson and we never looked back.
The Othellos classes have become one of the highlights of her week, where she meets her friends and buddies.

Fe has developed a love of the stage, especially the musicals. Now in year 9, she has chosen dance for her GCSEs and takes LAMDA and singing lessons.

Ariel has helped her blossom into a confident teenager and let her talent flourish.
