Hi Othellos! Thank you for joining our Digital Academy today. Everything you need to learn for your Showcase Opening song is here. Before you start, make sure you have listened to the full track. You should all know this song by Maroon 5, but in true Ariel style, we’ve put our extra special stamp on it. 

All you need to do is learn the ‘Othellos Vocal Track’ and practise along with the lyrics until you feel happy and confident. Then, it would be a great idea to sing along to either the Full Track or the Backing Track. We’d love to see you singing your vocal line so please send your videos over to nicci@arielct.co.u using the WeTransfer link. 

If you want to challenge yourself even further, have a listen to the Solo Lines recording and lyrics. If you would like to put yourself forward for a solo opportunity, please send a video of yourself singing these solo sections along with the backing track to nicci@arielct.co.uk using the WeTransfer link below.

A message from Bev … 

Hello Othellos! We are continuing our work on our Showcase Opening number and this week we are looking at the movement that accompanies our song ‘Memories.’ I’ve done 2 things for you this week, I’ve done a signing video and a dance. We are using the same section for both - this is the chorus of the song. For the signing, I have provided you with the lyrics and highlighted in yellow the words we are signing. I’d love it if you could have a go at both the dance and the signing or, if you’d prefer to do one, you can chose either signing or the dance. If you want to challenge yourself, why don’t you have a go at making up some of our own choreography?
